Landing Charges Geraldton Aerodrome

AIRPORT landing charges GST included             Effective 1st July 2009

RPT Passenger Service Fees: Adult $18.00
RPT Passenger Service Fees: Half/Child $9.00
RPT Aircraft Weight Landing Fees $13.50 per tonne or part there of
   
General Aviation Less than 1,000kg $13.50 Minimum per landing
General Aviation Between 1,001kg – 5,000kg  $13.50 per tonne or part there of
General Aviation Greater than 5,000kg  $14.50 per tonne or part there of
   
Defence Landing Fees  As per Agreement
ASIC Card $200.00
Gate Access Card $30.00
Room Rental $20.00 Per Hour

Policy  

21.2   LANDING FEE EXEMPTIONS
  1. The following organisations be granted General Exemption:

    Royal Flying Doctors Service (With an annual statement to the RFDS stating the Value of our kind donation.)

    Geraldton Secondary College, Aircraft. (With an annual statement to the College stating the Value of our kind donation.); and

    Angel Flight Missions.
     
  2. When regulations require that aircraft should be test flown after maintenance to verify airworthiness (usually one circuit) or an aircraft is forced to return to the field due to mechanical failure.
     
  3. When the aircraft is used for charity and services are being donated for charity    (i.e.: Rotary, Flying Doctor, Variety Club etc).
     
  4. When the aircraft is required to land as a non-scheduled stop due to a medical emergency.



21.3    LANDING FEE CONCESSIONS
  1. A 50% concession will be applied to the owners / operators of aircraft who are members of the Midwest Aero Club and utilise the aircraft for recreational purposes.
     
  2. Landing fees be waived for aircrafts participating in Midwest Aero  Club authorised club functions. Provided prior notification of the event has been made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer. The Midwest Aero Club advise Geraldton Airport Services of the function and participating aircraft call sign prior to the event.
     
  3. One Landing Fee will apply for aircraft used for training ‘touch-n-go’ flights.
     
  4. That aircraft operators declaring in writing to the Citys Collection Agency, landings used strictly for pilot training be given a 15% discount. Provided all declarations are received prior to the 25th day of the Month in which the landing occurred or the final week of the previous month, and payment of accounts are received and paid in full within 30 days of invoice issue.
